New watches for 2022

New watches for 2022

We’ve studied some of the newest luxury watches that have been released in 2022, and have finally managed to curate a list of 5 of the timepieces that we think deserve a special place in our top 5 new watches for 2022.

Tank Louis Cartier Automatic 25.5mm 18-Karat Rose Gold and Alligator Watch, Ref. No. WGTA0092

This Cartier timepiece is available to pre-order today and priced at £11,400. This Swiss-made piece features a Calibre 1917 MC automatic movement and lasts up to 38 hours.

The watch features:

  • 18-Karat rose gold case
  • Mineral glass crystal
  • Engraved case back
  • Ardillon buckle-fastening grey alligator strap

Montblanc Summit 3 42mm Titanium and Rubber Smart Watch, Ref. No. 129268

One of our top choices is this Montblonc summit 3 watch, as it looks like a normal analogue, but doubles up as a smart watch with built in smartphone integration!

This seemingly normal watch features a microphone, heartrate monitor, barometer, accelerometer, gyroscope and even sleep tracking. All whilst offering an attractive sapphire glass crystal, and green and gold dial.

The Montblonc summit 3 smart watch is priced at £1,270, which we think is fair for the technology included.

IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN: Pilot's Mark XVIII Top Gun Edition 'SFTI' Limited Edition Automatic Chronograph 41mm Ceramic and Textile Watch with Stopwatch, Ref. No. IW324711

This watch gets all our votes, as, believe it or not, it’s modelled after the chronograph exclusively made for graduates of the US Navy Fighter Weapons School, and is even built to withstand strain to the wrist!

Eagle eyed watch enthusiasts will have already spotted the Top Gun logo, no doubt. This pays homage to the rigorous course completed by navy pilots in their training.

This watch is priced at £8,300 and is available to pre-order now.

BOVET Récital 29 Moon-Phase 42mm DLC-Coated Stainless Steel and Croc-Effect Leather Watch, Ref. No. R290006

Quite the eyecatcher, right?

This watch caught our attention for a few reasons; first, that blue dial, accompanied by a moon-phase dome to replicate the lunar surface; second, the watch features a signature writing slope case, where the case is angled towards the wearer's eyes and last, but certainly not least, the skeleton dial. We are a sucker for a skeleton dial here at To The Hour and this Bovet timepiece is a wonderfully unique example.

The watch is available for pre-order now, and is priced at £31,000

BELL & ROSS BR V2-92 Orange Limited Edition Automatic 41mm Stainless Steel Watch, Ref. No. BRV292-O-ST/SST

Is orange the new black?

We love this bold orange dial from Bell & Ross, for watch lovers who love a pop of colour.

If the dial alone isn't tempting enough to buy it, the watch is actually limited edition, with only 500 pieces being manufactured, making this exclusive timepiece a luxury must-have for 2022.

The watch on sale at £3,200, so grab it before its gone!
